JOEY FEVER
Joey Fever is a reggae and dancehall singer/sing-jay born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden.
He got into reggae music around 1998 when he started deejaying with sounds and selectors in his hometown. Between 2003 And 2006 Joey was the front figure of the group Collision, touring around Sweden. The group never released any official records, but two of Joey Fever & Collisions songs Serious Things and The Collision Deli have been released in the form of wicked dubwise Drum n Bass-remixes done by the Stockholm duo Cold Jazz and Wezzler along with Canadian Marcus Visionary on the Canadian label Dance Rock and Groove in 2007 and 2008. Joey Fever begun his solo carrier in 2006 teaming up with producers Sting and Scorpio at Pleasure Beat Records releasing the tune Youths dem rise on the Majestic Riddim. In 2007 Fever's song Love Around Her was remixed and released by the Swedish Drum n Bass producers MIR Crew on their label MIR Records. In the summer of 2008 Joey Fever also had a song called Sweetness featured on Swedish producer Partillo's (Swingkids Records) compilation Partillos Högre Standard vol I och II, this tune has been on high rotation on the Swedish national radio ever since. This spring Joey Fever will be releasing a 7" single called Tell it to my heart on Swedish reggae sensation Million Stylez's new label Adonai Records. This song is featured on the label's first riddim release Everyday riddim (produced by Swedish Kapten Röd and Million Stylez). Keep your eyes open for further single releases from Joey Fever on different labels in 2009! In 2008 Joey Fever signed a record deal with Pleasure Beat Records and is currently working on his first full lenght album, voicing riddims by a whole heap of talanted producers planned to be released on Pleasure Beat Records in summer 2009.
