It is with great excitement that Lustre Kings brings you the release of the third volume in the Culture Dem series, crowning a trinity of classic Rasta reggae compilations. A full-length various artist album, CD 3 continues the trend LK has set in highlighting new and upcoming talent in reggae music while showcasing current stars. Combining fresh artists with well-known modern roots stars such as Jah Mason, Turbulence, Lutan Fyah, Natural Black, Norrisman, Midnite and Determine is the formula the Culture Dem series has prescribed to from the start. Some of the rising stars on this release include: Khari Kill, I Lue, Al Pancho, Jah Dan, and Messenjah Selah. The production of Digital Ancient once again takes the listener on a global reggae journey, showcasing a different branding of reggae that incorporates hip-hop, dancehall, live roots, and R & B elements throughout. Consisting of the riddims "Afro-bot", "Clean Life", "Salam Addis", and "Rainbow", CD 3 finishes of with a sneak preview into our next riddim segment, "Proverbs", musically arranged by Nick Fantastic. Fantastic scored big in 2005 as the creator of the international known "Hard Times" riddim. This album pulls from the reserves of the great musical material continuing to come from the LK catalogue, while giving listeners a fresh definition of modern roots music.
